CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME
At most inns check-in is from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and check-out is before 12:00 noon. Please confirm the check-in and check-out time with your specific inn.
If you plan on arriving after 8:00 pm , please notify the inn to make alternate arrangements. Unfortunately, due to our small size we typically cannot accommodate early check-ins or late departures.
OCCUPANCY AND LOCAL TAX
Transient Occupancy Tax is charged on the room rate only. Four Sisters Inns does not require or assess any additional fees such as a resort or amenity tax.
To guarantee your reservation, we require a valid credit card to be on file. Unless otherwise stated at time of reservation, we do not charge your card in advance.
All of our inns have a 7 day cancellation policy, with the exception of Milliken Creek Inn, Blue Lantern Inn, Channel Road Inn and Hotel Casa 425 or unless otherwise stated on your confirmation. For all reservations cancelled 7 days or more before the date of arrival there is no charge. For reservations cancelled within 7 days of arrival, the first night charge, plus tax, will be billed to your credit card on file.
Reservations made within 7 days of the arrival date are considered non-cancellable and will incur a one night charge if cancelled. Guests who fail to cancel their reservation and do not check-in on the day of arrival will be charged for the first night plus tax.
Group, Holiday or Special Event Periods
Reservations that are made with a group booking or during a special event or holiday period are subject to a longer cancellation policy. This will be stated on your confirmation. If you have any questions, please contact the manager about your cancellation policy. Guests who fail to cancel their reservation and reserved their guestroom through a group booking or during a special event period are subject to a no-show charge equal to the entire stay. Four Sisters Inns occasionally requires a two or three night minimum during special event and/or holiday periods. If you have reserved a guestroom during a time period with a minimum night stay and need to cancel, depart early or fail to check-in for your reservation, please know that the minimum night stay will be charged to your credit card on file.
GUEST IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED
Guests will be required to present a valid identification at check-in that matches the guest name on the reservation as well as the credit card used to pay for the guestroom. If someone other than the guest on the reservation will be paying the folio charges, a Credit Card Authorization form is required and must be on file at time of check-in.
All Four Sisters Inns are 100% smoke-free inns. Please do not smoke in any of the guestrooms, on the patios or within 20 feet of the buildings. If smoking occurs, there will be a $200 cleaning fee per night added to your folio. Please know we strictly enforce this policy.
Eleven of our inns have one or two dog-friendly guestrooms. If you are interested in bringing your dog, advance reservations as well as a flat fee is required. Please click here for a list of dog-friendly inns and information. Guests who bring a dog to the hotel without making an advance reservation or notifying the staff will be subject to a $200 charge. Please know we strictly enforce this policy. Dogs are not allowed at Milliken Creek Inn, Newport Beach Hotel or at Maison Fleurie. If you are interested in bringing your pet, please call the hotel directly to review the policy and inquire if the pet-friendly guestroom is available during your dates of stay.
Our room rates are based on double occupancy. Many of the rooms cannot accommodate more than two guests. If there is a third guest (over the age of five) staying in the room, there will be a $25 extra person nightly charge. If you should need a futon or rollaway, please contact us immediately as we have a limited number of these available and we will also confirm whether your room can accommodate an additional guest.
We welcome families and their children at all of our inns. For your comfort, please speak with the innkeeper directly to determine the best room to accommodate your family. Quiet hours must be observed after 8:30 pm for the comfort of all in the hotel. Children, ages five and under, stay free. EARLY DEPARTURE FEE
Guests who need to check-out earlier than expected from the hotel will be subject to a $75 early departure fee. Guests that initially reserved more than one night because there was a required minimum-night stay will be charged the full amount of each night required.
Burning candles is not allowed at any inns due to the potential fire hazard. Please do not light a candle in your guestroom. If lit, you will be liable for the entire amount of damage. We also have safe flame-free candles at the front desk should you wish to have the look of a candle in your room.
FRONT DESK HOTEL SAFE
Each inn offers a secure safe at the front desk for guest use. Items checked into the front desk safe will remain completely secure during the duration of the stay and are available to access during the inn’s posted front desk hours. Upon checking an item in, guest's will receive a written receipt of the item(s) with the declared value. We cannot accept cash or items valued in excess of $2500 total per room. Please know that we cannot be responsible for any items and/or valuables left in the guestroom at the guests discretion.
CREDIT CARD / DEBIT CARD POLICY
Debit and credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
If paying with cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax and $100 per day towards incidentals will be collected at check-in.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY
All purchased Four Sisters Inns' gift certificates are fully transferable to any of the inns in the Four Sisters Inns Collection at the time of redemption. To use your gift certificate, simply call the inn you wish to stay at and notify the innkeeper at the time of reservation, your gift certificate number, amount and any other details on your gift certificate. All of our hotels have been inspected by a California Certified Access Specialist. Depending on the hotel, location and historic designation, they are either fully compliant, in the process of becoming compliant or, due to its historical architecture and structure, compliance is not readily achievable.
